  1. Hey there, thanks for stopping by my Lupus site [http://thelupylady.com]. I’m glad you liked my quote picture, I thought it was great. You’re pictures are great! I look forward to following your blog!

  2. I always wanted to explain my behind the blog title story at one point on my page, but hesitated. I guess I love to leave people scratching their heads or give me the ‘what is she talking about’ response. 🙂 Any who, I am loving your blog already. And don’t even get me started with mangoes. 🙂

    • thank you so much!!
i have been using a 50mm f/1.8 for all the photos on my blog
such a versatile and inexpensive lens!!
believe it or not, i have been using dpp (digital photo professional)
canon’s basic photo editing software that came with the camera!!
let me know if you have more specific post-processing questions…

  3. Thanks for stopping by and reading my post on the Chapman’s peak shenanigan ^^, Your photos are AMAZING to say the least! Would love to feature some of your work in a future blog if I may. One love.

  4. Haha funny shenanigans just adds something to most words, I have the same with Hernandez it makes things sound big like “the big Hernandez show”
by the way I also love food that explains when i named my blog after my favorite food french fries, and you’re so right who doesn’t love mango fruit? They are yummy

  5. Hey there, amazing pictures you have.
I am looking forward for the lens and the skill as yours.
Thanks for visiting my blog XD

  6. Thanks for liking my blog on hummingbirds! Photography is one of my favorite things. Birds are too. Mangoes, for me, were an acquired taste but I like ’em now, too. Had a bad experience with my first. It was stringy and tasted like turpentine. It was a while before I tried them again. There are so many varieties. There’s a Trinidad song that lists some of the best ones: It starts: “I want a penny to buy mango long, mango sweet; gimme a penny to buy mango long, mango sweet…”

    • all mangoes are not created equal!!
some taste better than others…very brave of you
after your 1st experience to give them another try!
now i need to find that song…lol
      thank you ;~D

  14. I never own an DSLR, but I have a compact camera Sigma DP2, and two of them in case one of them breaks down. I like to take photos and only recently photos has become part of my spiritual journey. I think photography, writing, even my badminton playing, has the same spiritual aspect =). Will come by to visit your blogs, and your photos, and I am sure with your passion, one day this blog is the greatest blog on photography!

  15. Thanks for checking out my blog! I love your pictures – I’m slowly trying to better my food photography. I love the way your pictures are focused close up and fuzzy in the background. I still can’t get that right!

  16. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and liking “Forsaken Friday”. I enjoyed viewing your photographs posted on your blog. Nice work and a keen eye! Please stop by my blog again soon!

  19. thanks so much for checking out my blog. it’s still in it’s humble beginnings so thank you for your likes. please come visit again soon! and you photography is beautiful….i love the architectural ones.

  20. Thanks for stopping by my blog – this posting was the most photos I’ve ever put up. Usually I’m more text-heavy but, sometimes, photos just say it all…as you clearly know:) Still exploring, and enjoying, yours.

  21. Thanks for dropping in on my blog 🙂
You have an interesting and very eclectic mix of images here whilst managing to keep an identifiable style – great stuff. I assume the smartphone shots have some sort of apps applied to them? I haven’t got one and don’t really know what they’re capable of! Do you do much processing with your DSLR work? Sorry about the questions – I’m interested in how people develop and produce they’re ‘signature’ look.

    • i love questions…like yours!
my posts with smartphone shots were edited using a photo app from my phone..
as for my dslr shots, i use photoshop cs5 for post-processing but not a whole lot; i prefer a more natural-look to my photos…as little distortion as i can manage lol
as for ‘signature’ look, to be honest, i cannot confidently say that i have developed one distinctively…but i know that it comes with growth (comfort with lens/equipement/post-processing techniques) and your eye (individual/unique)
sorry for the long response but i do hope i answered your questions!!

      • Thank you. I too prefer a more natural look …… plus I don’t want to spend too much time trapped at my computer 🙂 I look forward to seeing more of your work.

  22. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog…much appreciated!

Your stuff here is great! I am toying with the idea of getting a smartphone with a half decent camera..I only have about 5 Point and Shoots…lol

  23. From one mango lover to another, thank you for visiting and liking my post. My father was a professional photographer and oil painter. I am trying to discover my artistic outlet. You are blessed to have such a skill.

  24. Thank you so much for liking my page! You do well with flowers, but try to be careful with overexposing your subjects to too much light…it really diffuses the details of the pictures. This seems to happen sometimes when you take pictures of food. Working with natural light can be very tricky…time of day is everything. But keep going!

  25. Thanks for stopping by. Love your photos and will follow.
Love coffee in the a.m., tea in the p.m. Love beer and wine, depends on the evening. Fav activities are the same as yours. Your blog title is great. Mine worked at the time, had to do with writing and letting stuff out.

  26. Hello and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the world and giving me the opportunity of getting to discover your photography. Wow, really amazing. I’ve never been really good with a camera, I guess I never had the patience for it but I enjoy beautiful pictures. You have found another follower. Thank you and see you soon with both our worlds collide again 🙂
